This usually includes the diseases of the uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix, ovaries, vagina, and vulva. A gynaecologist is also an expert in treating menstrual problems, sexuality, contraception, menopause, and infertility. A lot of gynaecologists provide prenatal care as well. A few gynaecologists may also offer primary care services based on their training and experience.
The primary job of a gynaecologist is to carry out medical exams of the reproductive organs of women, trying to find abnormalities & possible problems as well as to ensure overall wellness.
